Brownie
I've posted this picture before. So maybe I'm cheating by not taking a new one but this really is the childhood toy that means the most to me. Meet Brownie. His nose is worn, his mouth is worn, his stomach fur lays flat but he's my friend. And when we're apart, I feel separation anxiety. He's listened to many prayers and cries and endured many tears and hugs. But he maintained his integrity through it all... I mean, the guy wears a bow tie. How much more distinguished can a bear get?!?
Memories...
Please meet Pismo, my first doll that my mom had specially made for me in Pismo Beach, CA, and Red Bear, my favorite toy and friend from when I was three that my brother and sister gave to me!

St. Patrick's Day 2008
I have to use Matt's computer, because my internet is not working... weird, but true. So, I thought I'd go old school and take a picture from his computer! This is THREE years ago. How crazy!

This was so hard! Sorry it took so long!
Aaron: Celebration at the Station, June 4th. I LOVE how you captured the fireworks. It's magical!
And finally Brianna (me). It was hard to find one I wanted to share again... I chose Fall is Pretty Take 2 from November 17th. I went on a walk that day that was really what I needed and I'll always have this picture to remind me!
Cassie: My Paradise, September 8th. This is just so beautiful! It looks serene and lovely!
Chelsea: Yours was the hardest to pick! I am going to choose Merry Christmas from December 25, but Feeling Whimsy on October 18th, and Tomato Fest August 22 are close seconds!

And the award goes to...
Aaron for Clue Baby, posted August 5th, 2010! This is one of those pictures that makes me laugh each time I see it!Brianna for Storm in Independence, posted September 2, 2010! This picture reminds me just how powerful Mother Nature is. There are certain songs, pictures, and smells that spark really vivid memories. And this is a picture that makes me think of the summer storms of my childhood. The way the air smells as a storm rolls in, how all you hear is wind blowing, and you can feel a noticeable temperature drop. Cassie (Me) for Goats Say..., posted July 12, 2010! I just really enjoy photographing animals so when they seemingly pose for me, it makes my day! The goat then proceded to attempt to eat my camera. Plus, I like how it looks like I am in the pen with the goat. And I'm not. Booyah.
Chelsea for Independence in Missouri, posted July 5, 2010! I feel like I can almost see the flag rippling and waving in a light breeze. I love the sun shining through the fabric. And maybe it's a little of the memory thing, too. I've got strong memories associated with Independence Day celebrations as a kid.
Best of...(half of) 2010!
Aaron (me): (Originally posted November 21st) I loved when we took this picture, I loved this picture originally, and loved it even MORE up-side-down!
Brianna: (Originally posted June 19th) I love this picture. The black and white makes it timeless. It is something so beautiful and unique taken from something so monotonous as a long road trip. :)Cassie: (Originally posted July 18th) The thing that I love so much about this photo is that it shows how proud you are of your class and your students. It is a very heart-warming and pretty picture!
Chelsea: (Originally posted October 20th) I love this picture because of the memories associated with it. It is a gorgeous picture, so serene and and so peaceful.
